CineBrunch
Website for a Swiss cultural association combining film screenings and Sunday brunch, with a bilingual FR/DE seasonal programme.
Context
CinéBrunch is a Swiss cultural association that hosts weekly Sunday morning film screenings followed by a convivial brunch at local cinemas. The concept combines film discovery, local gastronomy and social time.
The old site, built several years ago on a generic CMS platform, no longer reflected the association's modern visual identity. The programme was hard to navigate, the ticketing system was fragmented, and the FR/DE bilingualism was poorly handled.
Approach
The redesign was built around three priorities: a clear, navigable programme grid (each screening with its visual, date, language and film), a solid FR/DE bilingual system that respects Switzerland's dual cultural identity, and frictionless ticketing integration.
The art direction draws on cinema's editorial codes: strong typography, magazine hierarchy, while remaining warm to evoke the brunch and conviviality dimension of the concept.
Result
The new site has been live since late 2024. It presents the seasonal programme, integrates ticketing, manages FR/DE bilingualism across every page, and highlights partners: Cinémotion, Globetrotter, La Liberté, Banque Cantonale de Fribourg.
Audience feedback confirmed the clarity gain: more intuitive navigation, simplified ticket purchases, and better visibility of upcoming events.
